As a Catholic I wanted to encourage a place to grow in wisdom and love of our Lord. I will be sharing on this site everything that affects (or could) ALL LIFE from conception to NATURAL death, which I hold sacred. I will also include political view points of mine concerning people and/or current events that may or may not have an impact on future generations. I will use prayerful consideration before removing a comment that is not appropriate for anyone reading this blog.

Inauguration Day and I'm Still in Shock.
Two months after the 2012 election and I am still puzzled by what happened. Have we truly become a nation that is only interested in what can be done for them? I am concerned.
By the way for those of you wanting to know, this has nothing to do with the color of anyone's skin, it has everything to do with the dignity of the human person. You see I believe that the real "social" injustice today is that we focus only on "social justice". In my humble opinion "social justice" begins with believing that life begins at conception. Until we understand that premise we will never truly be "social" advocates for any program nor will we realize the gift that we have been given - Life.
How can we say that we voted according to our "social justice" conscience and that is why so many voted for President Obama; when he has shown that he is admittedly "pro choice"? I am still shaking my head in disbelief by the number of "christian's" that voted for him. We are all called to protect the life of those most vulnerable; the aged, pre-born and children. Yet we failed them miserably! Is that not "social injustice"?
I'm spending the next four years on my knees in prayer, praying that we will have a change of heart and see the value in every life, not just our own.
